Demaris saved my life. In my darkest hour she was the light that guided me through my mental health crisis. She listens to me, and we work together to maintain stability in my mental health journey. She doesn’t just prescribe and let me go. She takes the whole person into account and treats me with dignity and respect. Very professional and I would recommend her to anyone who needs mental health services.

I have been a patient of Ms Aragon for 4 years. She literally saved my life several times. I suffer from severe depression and have been at very low points several times (much which is situational). Ms Aragon is a RN, which means she has an excellent background in medical science as well as respect and understanding of psychosocial and spiritual well being. She has a master’s degree in nurse practitioner. She has a very kind and caring demeanor. She has gone above and beyond for me several times. She is compassionate and understanding while being professional. She has an excellent knowledge of medications. She prescribes as she professionally sees fit.
I have read her reviews and find it interesting that people do not take responsibility for their own behavior (missed appointments). Most practices will not see patients that no show.I have never received a reminder text, I didn’t know that was an option, I take responsibilities for my own appointments. Ms Aragon has an email questionnaire that is sent several days prior to appointments, in which the patient completes their current status, this has a reminder of when the appointment is. I have spoken to her receptionist several times, and found her to be very kind and professional. People tend to lash out when they don’t get what they want (not what they need). Ms Aragon doesn’t have control over insurance company policies. She does not take walk ins (most providers don’t, she has a busy practice and SCHEDULES patient appointments. I have found her to be very good at making urgent visits (not drop in) when needed.
I value the excellent care given to me by Ms. Aragon. I highly recommend her care.
Damaris provides an excellent balance of clinical nursing with mental health counseling drawing from many traditions and tailoring her approach to individual need. She is a good listener and a vibrant person. She has recommended resources to aid in my growth and awareness. Under her care I have gained confidence and clarity in facing difficulties and improved my ability to make decisions.
I have been coming to see Darmaris Aragon for about three years, in that time I have gotten to know Darmaris as a compassionate advocate for the mentally ill. She keeps up on the latest literature and practices on mental illnesses and tells me about the latest that has been written on my particular illness. She know that schizophrenia is caused by a chemical imbalance and prescribes medication for my illness in a timely fashion. Her office is very comfortable too which has soothing music and beautiful plants which makes each session pleasant. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a excellent practitioner in her area of expertise.
